This is one of the oddest Peltiers I've ever had or seen. With an apparent brown base and black ribbons with light aventurine, if first appears to be a CHOCOLAT COW, but the base glass is a little darker than most. Closer examination with back lighting, shows that the base glass is made up of translucent red, slightly opalescenct, with activity going on beneath the surface in the manner of the submarines; although, all of the submarines I have seen have had a blue base. This is an extremely rare marble. I've brought it to a couple of major marble shows and shown it to some of the Peltier experts, all of them tell me there is no doubt the manufacture was Peltier, but none have ever seen another one anywhere. So far, it's one of a kind.
CONDITION: MINT 9.4 The surface is wet and shiny with no signs of wear. There are a couple of tiny melted dimples and two cold roll lines that resemble seams. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
