Here is one of the most elusive varieties in the marble kingdom. This is a Christensen Agate Co. Striped Transparent Submarine. It has mint green, yellow, and some pale lavender stripes running between two seams on and within a transparent amber base. Trying to get one of these from there owners requires the long term cultivation of friendships, favors, cajoling, and a lot of cash.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 Nothing to describe but the bright unmarred shine. This is about as close to perfect as you're going to find. A real museum piece. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
