This is one of the more decorative examples of an old German hand ground agate that I’ve seen in quite some time. Check out all the oxblood-like brown and white and translucent bands separating the bulls-eyes on either end. The second picture is backlit to demonstrate the wonderful near transparence of the natural stone from which this gem is made.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT 8.6 No major hits or cracks, but there are numerous pinpricks surrounding the surface. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 18.72mm or 0.737" at the equator. | |||||
