Bright red and deep, rich golden yellow with tracers of green ribbons swirl madly on a robin's egg blue base glass eventually ending in what might be called seams. The yellow in this example is more like the base color of the elusive Golden Rebel than that usually found on a Superman. I may be wrong in that this could be an abnormal National Line Rainbo, but a pattern this crazy is usually associated with the results of a Miller machine production. This is probably the wildest Superman I've ever seen.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is untouched, shiny and wet looking. Using a bright, 200W, light and lens I can only find a couple of tiny, shallow, and clearly as-made touch marks or pinpricks, or whatever you might want to call them--they require assistance to see, i.e., not visible to my naked eye. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.38mm or 0.687" at the equator. | |||||
