I originally thought this was a CAC Cobra with the pattern of Electric yellow swirls inside a transparent clear base glass, but when I got it home and examined it under a better lighting source, I find that the base glass, while transparent, is not clear but a very pale yellow. Still, a very rare and hard to find marble; however, I don't believe it falls under the heading of a Cobra, but rather, a transparent swirl. There is absolutely no doubt the marble was produced by the Christensen Agate Company in the 1920s--the colors and pattern are quite distinctive and the single seam can be seen in the first picture, of which you can click and view a much larger view of the image.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface has the wet shiny look of a brand new marble with no evidence of wear of any kind, but close examination shows a number of surface indentations caused by interior air bubbles too close to the surface that have collapsed inward leaving dimples with melted edges, none of these interior air bubbles have exploded, or popped, outward as is all too often the case.
