Panels of green and black spots and streaks alternate with spots and streaks of red, all riding over a yellow "skin" that completely surrounds a clear base glass. Considering the massive size, superb condition, and quite unusual color combination, especially to include the scarcely seen black, this is an exceptional, and rare marble.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 The surface is wet and shiny with just the slightest trace of wear that is only detectable with magnification. There are a couple of pinprick sized open surface air bubbles and a couple of scratch-like marks that appear to have melted edges and therefore as-made. The fourth and fifth pictures show a melted dimple that is also clearly as-made. This is a difficult marble to grade and if you're not satisfied, remember I offer a full refund including return shipping. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 40.77mm or 1.605" at the equator. | |||||
