Besides the requisite red, yellow, and robin's-egg blue, there are some additional blended colors; hence, the SUPERMAN(+). The little eyelash-like marks, or so-called "pre-Freeze marks", are evident at the poles indicating the marble was made sometime prior to the spring of 1922.
The very bright and distinctive colors have made this one a favorite among marble collectors of all persuasion and especially the Akro Agate devotees. CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) 8.9 or MINT(-) 9.1 The surface is nice and shiny but there are tiny pit marks that are almost too numerous and small to be the result of play wear. It looks to me as if there was a fine sand or some other debris on the rollers while the marble was hot. There are no chips, cracks, bruises or any other anomalies that I can find.
