All kinds of color occupy the bubble filled, crystal clear base glass on this old Akro Agate Sparkler including: powder blue, yellow, white, green, rusty red, and when you rotate the marble just right, you can see veins of the famous Akro Agate Oxblood, best seen in the first and second pictures.
The seams, shown in these first and second pictures, have the eye-lash like marks that sort of look like scratches on this example. These are generally referred to as Pre-Freeze marks that were eliminated by the implementation of the so-called "Freeze" improvement in the spring of 1922 which help to identify the manufacturing date as sometime prior to this time. CONDITION: 9.8 WET MINT 9.8-9.9 Pristine surface with no signs of wear of any kind and I can find no as-made anomolies of any kind even when using a bright, 200w, light and 10x loupe.
