Pale lavender and cobalt blue glass are swirled together to coalesce for a delightful combination on this gem which, I'm fairly certain, is a product of the RAVENSWOOD NOVELTY CO., circa 1928-1930.
The company was formed by Lawrence Alley who, shortly after it's demise, established the ALLEY AGATE company for which he is famous. With such a short lived existance, Ravenswood marbles are in short supply, especially with this unique color and wonderful mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.6 Wet shiny surface without the slightest hint of wear; there is however, a single sub-surface reflection, visible in the fourth image, that is most likely the result of hitting other marbles during the cooling process of manufacture.
