Here is a rather uncommon old German handmade: a Ridged solid core swirl with three very pronounced ridges. The peaks of the ridges are capped with cobalt blue ribbons and pretty pink ribbons ride in the corresponding valleys. One of the pontail marks is unfinished and the other is melted to near oblivion, fifth and sixth pictures, which help to date the marble to the Victorian period circa 1880-1910.
CONDITION: MINT 9.4 Wet shiny surface with no signs of wear at all. There are a couple of tiny surface air bubbles that I guess would qualify as pinpricks, but there are two right together that are noticeable and are easily seen at the left edge of the third and the right edge of the fourth pictures--clearly as-made.
