Wild or not, the boar part of the description is correct as you can tell the sex as shown in the RIGHT, LEFT, and especially the REAR views of the marble. The insertion mark, which has been ground and visible in the RIGHT, FRONT and TOP images, is on the top of this one rather then the usual bottom.
The almost tiny, for a sulphide, size of 15/16" is extremely rare as is any sulphide marble that is less than 1" or even 1-1/4" for that matter, Also very very rare is the wonderful mint plus condition. This is a real find for any sulphide collector. How many sulphides this small have you ever seen? CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 Wet Shiny surface with no anomolies of any kind even with the aid of a bright light and 10x jewelers loupe. The olny thing that keeps this marble from an even higher grade classification is a couple of air bubbles that have been trapped on the side of the figure. Guaranteed to have never been polished--you can still see the spin marks. Click on the first picture for a greatly enlarged view. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 23.36mm or 0.935" at the equator. | |||||
