What a gorgeous tribute the German artists who created this marble were making to help us celebrate America's 100th birthday in 1876. This is about as close as the technology of the time would allow craftmen to come to simulating the American flag inside of a glass marble; and a wonderful job they did.
CONDITION: MINT 9.3 The surface is wet and shiny with just the very slightest whisper of faint wear that you can see if you look hard at these greatly enlarged images. All dimples or pecks you may see have melted edges indicating they were there while the marble was still hot. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 21.86mm or 0.860" at the equator. | |||||
