I didn't think I would ever be able to get my hands on one of these: a CAC Four color FLAME. I call it a four color, but I think there are actually more than that. I don't know if it's true that these are more rare than the Guineas, but they have been for me; I know that I've had a couple of dozen Guineas over the years, and this is my first Flame.
There isn't really a base glass color, just different colors joining together and swirling against the others. This example has so many flame tips that I haven't even tried to count them. It is so crowded with activity that I picked out ten pictures, rather than my usual six, to demonstrate the terrific views this beauty presents from every vantage. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear of any kind. All I can find with my bright light and lens are a couple of shallow melted dimples and subsurface reflections, all of which are readily visible in the pictures.
