Here is an exceptionally rare old German handmade of the English Style that is hardly ever seen, in fact, I believe this is the first one I've ever come across. Four bright wide ribbons just below the surface of a crystal clear and bubble free base glass surround an outstandingly designed red and yellow lattice web--Unheard of!!!
The remarkably clear glass and unusually bright colors, along with the two unfinished pontail marks help to identify a manufacture date sometime during the late Victorian period, circa 1880-1910. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with only the slightest whisper of microscopic wear that is invisible to the naked eye. The perfectly clean pontail marks, fifth and sixth pictures, show the marble has never been on the ground or even allowed to get dirty. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 20.45mm or 0.805" at the equator. | |||||
