The surface of this brilliantly UV reactive Akro Agate LEMONADE is heavily covered by a generously applied helping of the famous Akro OXBlOOD--one of the most popular in their long line of collectable marbles. Toward the lower left corner of the third picture, tiny "eyelash-like, or pre-Freeze marks, are visible: indicating the manufacture date is from the early 1920s--some of Akro Agate's earliest works.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 Shiny wet surface with just the slightest whisper of microscopic wear that is not visible without the aid of a bright light and lense. There are a very few tiny pinpoints, all of which are visible in the images, that are clearly as-made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.50mm or 0.651" at the equator. | |||||
