Uniformly separated multi-colored streaks of nearly every color of the palette stretch from pole to pole and cased in crystal clear glass on this gorgeous old English style JOSEPH's COAT swirl. You'll find if you look closely, fifth picture, that the colors are slightly shrunken and contain a bit of a lobed affect. Both pontail marks are unfinished indicating the marble was manufactured in Germany during the late Victorian period, circa 1880-1910.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 PRISTINE, just like the day it was made. Using a bright light and jeweler's loupe, I could find a very tiny pinpoint prick and a touch mark--both clearly as-made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 20.00mm or 0.787" at the equator. | |||||
