The base glass is crystal clear with a generous helping of the white wispy threads that define the Akro Agate POPEYE. There is an egg-yolk yellow corkscrew on and below the surface accompanied by a beautiful dark forest green ribbon on the surface. Both run uninterupted from pole to pole with the so-called "pre-Freeze marks" on either end signifying that the manufacture date was on or before early 1922.
CONDITION: 9.7-9.8 WET MINT, Untouched wet shiny surface without even the slightest hint of play or wear. There are some almost microscopic melted dimples from tiny tiny bubbles that nearly made it to the surface and then collapsed--They are too insignificant even for these enlarged pictures to show.
