Two sets of powder blue ribbons and two sets of white-edged lutz ribbons alternate on the surface of a crystal clear base glass with an elongated ribbon at it's core.
Any marble containing lutz is a rarity, and combine that with the always hard to find powder-blue, we have a very special marble becomming more and more elusive as the ever growing population of the marble collecting community strives to gather from a static supply of really nice antique marbles. CONDITION: NEAR MINT(++)-MINT The surface is wet and shiny and the pontail marks are as clean as the day of manufacture; however there is the faintest trace of microscopic wear, too light for my camera to pick up, and, what I consider, an as-made fleabite visible near the center of the fifth picture. I've seen many marbles in much worse condition than this one sold in the high mint range. Very nice marble and worthy of any high end collection. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.21mm or 0.675" at the equator. NOTE: 0.685=11/16 | |||||
