A bright cherry-red marble with an equally brilliant snow-white ribbon that makes nearly three full twists around it's surface is the quintessential definition of an Akro Agate ONYX CORKSCREW.
It is really hard to believe how this two-color simplicity catches the eye even when displayed with top of the line marbles. This is one of the most dazzling examples in my collection, the intensity of which I couldn't begin to describe without the aid of these pictures. . CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. There is a scratch-like mark, visible in the second picture, that has melted edges and was clearly made while the marble was still hot during it manufacture, and is clearly as-made.
