This is part of a set of the most recognized marbles ever produced; even non-collectors have seen or, at least, heard about the famous Peltier Comic Picture marbles. This one has the image 1920s newspaper comic strip star: EMMA. The black graphite strike is exceptionally strong but unfortunately not so well centered on a white marble with a royal blue PEERLESS patch.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear and no pinpricks or the like--just a single melted dimple that is clearly as-made. The only anomoly is also a result of the manufacturing process: there as some excess graphite splatter as shown in the pictures, excess to the point that the "A" in EMMA is completely smudged.
