Here's one that I've never even seen before: a giant, nearly one inch, German banded opaque with a full 360º color coverage. Colors include pink, green, orange, blue, and brown on a white base that is somewhat translucent.
After nearly 30 years of collecting marbles, I've had to come to terms with the fact that to have some examples, I was going to have to accept something less than mint or polished. This is one of those that I bought on eBay thinking it was at least near mint but found it to be polished when I got it. Rather than return it, since it is so rare, I decided to keep it for a place holder. CONDITION: POLISHED Either lightly polished or heavily buffed as some of the pontail marks remain but at the same time some of the color, pink and green, has been taken nearly off. It appears that any previous damage has all been removed. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 23.06mm or 0.907" at the equator. | |||||
