Gorgeous deep dark cobalt Clearie with large mica flakes sprinkled moderately around and just below the surface. One of the pontail marks is a melted pig-tail and the other is ground but not faceted, indicating a manufacture date of circa 1880-1910. Cobalt has become a hard color to come by and the very near 3/4" size along with the wonderful mint condition has made this example a good find indeed.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 Super bright, shiny, wet looking surface with no sign of wear of any kind. All I cn find are some deep creases near one of the pontails. All are quite visible in the pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 18.62mm or 0.733" at the equator. | |||||
