Here's an absolutely gorgeous example of one of Akro Agate's early products. The SPARKLER. Veins of green, royal and powder blues, lavender, orange, brown, white and OXBLOOD nearly fill a crystal clear base glass that also has many many tiny bubbles. The so called "Pre-Freeze" marks are readily evident at the poles helping to date the marble to the 1910s and early 20s.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(++) 8.9 The surface has the wet shiny look of a new marble and there is no wear, but close examination show a tiny pinprick, visible in the sixth picture, and a moon reflection that if you look real close you can see at about 4 o'clock in the second.
