This is probably the best example of a Peltier BLUE ZEBRA that I've ever seen, much less owned. Deep dark blue ribbons, just dripping BLUE AVENTURINE, meet at two rather close together seams on a white base glass.
These true BLUE ZEBRAs have become incredibly elusive; in fact, I've sold more BLUE GALAXIES and CHOCOLATE COWS. I haven't been able to find any on any of the web-sites or eBay, or anywhere else. Blue Aventurine is rare at any time and to see it applied this heavy is nearly unbelievable. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with just the slightest whisper of wear such as you would expect to find in a marble stored with others for 100 years. Close examination with a bright light and lens show some black specks in the white that are in the glass, so clearly as-made. Also, some needle point size pricks that I can't imagine any way for them to get there other than while the glass was hot. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.28mm or 0.639" at the equator. | |||||
