Two nearly perfectly space LUTZ bands with white borders are separated by two pairs of equally well spaced yellow bands on a remarkably pure crystal clear base glass. One of the pontail marks is melted to near oblivion and the other is unfinished but exceptionally well made. Manufactured circa 1870-1910 by a professional at the top of his trade.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny without the slightest sign of any play or wear of any kind. All I can find are a couple of clearly as-made pinpricks that are visible in the pictures. Even the pontail marks are as clean as the day they were made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 21.96mm or 0.864" at the equator. | |||||
