Here's an old CAC classic: the STRIPED OPAQUE. The base glass is opaque black with a surface layer of, exclusive to Christensen Agate, electric orange that is accompanied by light streaks of yellow and red. The pattern meets at two opposing seams and forms the highly sought after DIAPER-FOLD pattern seen in the third picture.
The Christensen Agate Company was only in business for a couple of years and didn't produce all that many marbles to begin with, but their patterns were distinctive and their colors fabulous making them some of the most prized marbles in the collecting world. CONDITION: MINT 9.4 The surface is wet and shiny and there is no sign of play or wear, but there are several clearly as-made melted dimples from tiny bubbles having risen to the surface and collapsing without bursting.
