Here is a museum quality example of one of the most popular collectable marbles available. Dark royal blue and eggyolk yellow ribbons twist around a crystal clear base glass that is nearly filled with opaque white wispy strands that define the Akro Agate POPEYE CORKSCREW.
The so-called pre-Freeze marks are visible indicating that this is one of Akro's earlier efforts, circa 1910s-1922. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 PRISTINE WET MINT. I can find no anomolies on this marble what-so-ever. Just about as perfect as you'll ever see. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.08mm or 0.633" at the equator. | |||||
