This is an old Vitro Agate Co. product from the ALL RED line and those with the black ribbon around the equator were further identified by collectors as the earlier version or OLD STYLE.
Basically a patch and ribbon type marble, the base glass is milk white with colored, sometimes oddly shaped, patches on either end and a black ribbon around the equator that usually leaves some of the white base glass exposed. The Vitro Agate Company went under many names through their history. These of the ALL RED line were produced during the 1950s and '60s. These large shooters are getting very hard to find, especially in this wonderful mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or better. PRISTINE, WET MINT. I cannot find a flaw on this marble at all. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 22.02mm or 0.867" at the equator. | |||||
