It looks like the artists used every color of the CAC pallate in the making of this most sought after of all marbles: the GUINEA. The base glass is crystal clear and is nearly completely covered with flecks of colored glass from the Christenen supply. The marble is a great rarity in itself, and to make it even more so, it is one of the single seam variety--most had two seams. NOTE: A way to check imitations is to check for the seam. If there is no seam at all, it is not a Christensen Guinea.
CONDITION: MINT(-) or NEAR MINT(+) The surface is wet and shiny and there is no sign of wear at all; however, there are two tiny pinpricks that look like bubble pops to me, especially since there is no other evidence of play or use to be found.
