Here's an old English Style white Latticinio made in Germany during the late Victorian period. The date and type is revealed by the exceptionally clear glass and the bright vivid colors of the outer bands that surround the very well made latticinio web at the core. Also, both of the pontail marks are unfinished.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear, and I can find no pinpricks or any damage of any kind. There is a spot near one of the pontails that looks like a pinprick maybe, but it is melted and appears to have been cause by the breaking of the marble from the cane. The main anomaly that gives the low mint rating is the marble is a bit out of round as can be seen by looking closely at the pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.69mm or 0.696" at the equator. | |||||
