MINT(+) 5/8" Akro Agate BLACK CHERRY ONYX AUGER CORKSCREW

I called this one a BLACK CHERRY because that's what it remindes me of. Sitting in a box it almost looks black until you pick it up and some light is allowed to penetrate it's exceptionally dark red surface. An ONYX CORKSCREW is defined as a transparent colored glass with a white corkscrew, and an AUGER because the shape of the corkscrew is like an auger. It reaches from, and including, the center all the way to the surface. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiney with no sign of play or wear at all. The only thing I can find, even with the aid of a bright light and lens, are some very tiny, clearly as-made, pinpoints with melted edges. You may click here to view the grading system I use.
