Here's an old classic of the Peltier NLR family: orange and black ribbons that are nearly dripping heavy AVENTURINE on a bright opaque orange base glass make for one of the most recognizeable marbles in the collecting world--the TIGER.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear at all. All I can find with the aid of a bright light and these large pictures is some faint, shallow pitting that is all melted and clearly as-made. I would attribute it to dust on the shaping rollers or the typical aventurine anomalies that happen, especially with Peltier marbles. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.49mm or 0.610" at the equator. | |||||
