I think there were more KOKOs made than any of the other Peltier Comic marbles. He's one of a group of 12 comic characters from the newpaper cartoons syndicated across the United States during the 1920s and '30s. The strong and a bit smudged image is well centered on a snow white base glass with a transparent forest green patch on the reverse side.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.4 The surface has a nice wet shiny to it and I'm not seeing any wear, but there is a small amount of excess graphite splater and a couple of sparkles in the white that show up as the marble is rotated. Also, there are a couple of wrinkles in the green patch. All this of course was made during the manufacturing process. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.19mm or 0.676" at the equator. | |||||
