Here's one that looks enough like a Popeye that many collectors include them in their Popeye collections; however, some of the older purists claim that a Popeye must have a transparent clear base glass with white wispy strands. This one has a translucent vaseline yellow base glass that is highly Ultra-Violet light reactive and glows brightly when exposed to a black, UV, light. So, since we have just described the base glass of the Akro ADE family of marbles, and this one has green, LIMEADE, and eggyolk, LEMONADE, and even a trace of red, see first picture, CHERRYADE, we now have a LEMONADE/LIMEADE/CHERRYADE HYBRID CORKSCREW.
Having said all that, it still does fit right in a box of Popeyes. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear of any kind. All I can find, under magnification is a track of melted roller marks that are clearly as-made. See the bottom of the third and fourth pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use.
