I called this one a CHEVRON LIBERTY because of the way the seams are rather close, rather than on opposite ends of the marble, and the crease that runs right down the middle of the transparent blue ribbons, they have been squeezed into a rather chevron-like shape. As the second picture shows, the other ribbons run all the way around the marble. Bit of a different view to show up in your NLR display.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny and I can find no evidence of play or wear; and, so very unusual for these old NLRs, I can't find any bubble pops or even melted dimples. If there is anything to describe, there is a a small area that show some light orange-peel effect. Click on the first picture for an enlarged view, the upper portion of the picture will show what I mean. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.90mm or 0.665" at the equator. | |||||
