Here's one that I have only seen a couple of in all my years of collecting marbles: This is a full 3/4" Peltier GREEN SLAG--marketed by Peltier as a NATIONAL ONYX. As with all Peltier Glass Company marbles, there were very few in the 3/4" size range, and I believe, even fewer of the slags. Unlike most Peltier marbles when they reach the larger sizes, they seem to loose some of their charactoristic patterns, this one has retained all of the things we like about Peltier slags. This is a truly rare marble and especially nice with it's beautiful mint condition rating.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear at all. All I can find with a close inspection is a couple of needle-point sized dimples with melted edges--actually too small to even call dimples. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 19.17mm or 0.754" at the equator. | |||||
