Here is a monster, just under 1-3/4", boulder that you don't want to leave laying around if you go barefooted. there are four multicolor ribbons in the core with a delightful spin that runs from pole to pole in a clear glass that is filled with a myriad of tiny bubbles; thankfully, none of which seem to have made it to the surface.
One of the pontail marks has been exquisitely ground and the other melted to near oblivion. This old salesman sampler dates back to the early days of glass marble history, circa 1850-1870. Very old and in remarkable very near to mint condition. CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+)8.9 The surface is wet and shiny as you would expect from a MINT marble but there are a few small and shallow contact points that you have to look for to find. Very close to mint, and it doesn't appear to have ever experienced any play. Probably dropped. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 43.92mm or 1.729" at the equator. | |||||
