13 evenly space white lines run from pole to pole on a lovely and exceptionally rare yellow base glass. Any gooseberry has become almost impossible to find now days, and one in this yellow glass and in mint condition to boot, is one you'll seek for a good long time before you find it.
One of the pontail marks is unfinished, second picture, and the other is melted to near oblivion, helping us to date the manufacture to circa 1870-1910. CONDITION: MINT 9.3 The surface is bright and shiny as a mint marble should be, but there is a tool mark that is evident in the fifth that causes a very slight bit of out-of-roundness, that wasn't noticeable until I placed the marble under the bright light and lens and took it's measurements.
