It is very difficult to find an Akro Popeye full 3/4" shooter at all now days, and nearly impossible to find one of these almost 25/32" examples even in a collection. Well here you are. There are a bright cherry red, and a blended eggyolk corkscrews winding a full two turns around a crystal clear base glass with a tornado of white wispy threads in the center and a lot of window space exposing the interior. Also, the so called pre-Freeze marks are present which allows us to know that the marble was made sometime prior to the Spring of 1922 when Freeze improvement was installed eliminating the little eyelash-like marks.
CONDITION: MINT 9.4 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. There are; however, several tiny melted dimples that are clearly as-made. What look like two pinpricks in the center of the second picture are the leading edges of two tiny bubbles on their way to the surface but didn't quite make it. There is one bubble which the leading edge made it to the surface without collapsing as the rest of them have but is too small for the camera to pick up.
