Four redish-orange streaked surface ribbons that are edged with a dark green outline meet at two seams on a dark robin's-egg blue base glass to form what collectors call a SUPERBOY. If the ribbons were a solid red, I guess you could name it a SPIDERMAN--You can anyway, once it's yours :-) I've found that as the marble community grows, collectors are prone to naming marbles eratically anyway.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 The surface is wet and shiny with absolutely no sign of play or wear what-so-ever. All I can find after a very close inspection with a bright light and a jeweler's loupe are two tiny, clearly as-made, melted dimples. All of you Peltier collectors know how hard it is to find an NLR with no bubble pops or blow-holes--this is an exceptional marble. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.23mm or 0.600" at the equator. | |||||
