We have a translucent vaseline yellow base glass with opaque white strands running through it here and there. The surface is nearly covered with rich, dark oxblood that Akro Agate has made so famous and popular, especially when applied to the glowing family of ADE marbles. This one being a LEMONADE OXBLOOD. The yellow vaseline glass and the exceptionally bright reaction to an ultra-violet light testifies that there is plenty uranium oxblood in the recipe. One of the main reasons you will only see the ADE family of marbles mostly manufactured before 1940 is the government outlawed the use of uranium because of its importance in the developement of the atomic bomb during World War II.
CONDITION: MINT) 9.6 Wet and shiny just like the day it was made. All that keeps it from a perfect rating is a few melted dimples from air bubbles that nearly made it to the surface but collapsed inward rather than bursting outward.
