When first inspecting this marble, I thought it had been machine polished, but by looking very hard, I can see some of the faceting. The artist who made this marble was an expert indeed.
There is a bulls eye on one end and a large patch on the other with several dark amber bands separating the translucent aspect of the backlit view. You can see the faults in the agate as the marble is rotated one quarter turn for each picture. I bought this marble as a handmade, I am satisfied that is a handmade, but if you are not completely satisfied when you get it, please free to return it and I will pay the return shipping. CONDITION: MINT(+) The surface is wet and shiny like a glass marble. There appears to be a small half moon that can be seen in the second and fourth pictures. I'm not sure if that is an impact mark or one of the faults that was releast in the faceting process. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.24mm or 0.639" - 0.644" at the equator. | |||||
