Here we have one of the less common colors, ICE BLUE, of the Peltier NATIONAL ONYX line, AKA SLAG. These are some of the earliest efforts of the Peltier Glass company once they started making marbles in the very early 20th century. Like other companies, these are single stream marbles of a transparent colored glass with an opaque white swirl. Peltiers are more rare than any of the other companies and are easily identifiable by the feathery pattern of the white swirls which is unique to Peltier.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny with the look of a new marble. I can find no sign of play or wear. Close inspection and these enlarged pictures reveal a couple of specks of some sort of black debris inside the marble and a couple of tiny and clearly as-made melted dimples from air bubbles that nearly made it to the surface and collapsed inward.
