MINT(+) 11/16" Akro Agate ICE BLUE ONYX SPIRAL CORKSCREW

This gorgeous transparent ICE BLUE is one of my favorite colors and the opaque white SPIRAL, with the hole showing at each end, make the just right contrast for this beautiful Akro Agate ONYX CORKSCREW. The little white eyelash-like marks at the end of each cork indicate a production date of prior to early 1922 when the so-call "Freeze improvement" was installed that eliminated the marks from later production. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is very wet and shiny with no evidence of play or wear of any kind. There are some tiny roller tracks that show up here and there, but that is absolutely all there is. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.53mm or 0.690" at the equator.
