I am not and have never been an expert on West Virginia swirls, but I'm pretty sure about this one as I had another with the exact color scheme, GM1810, and there is no question about it's origin, so I am deducing that this one is also an Alley Agate product. One of the most colorful of all the WV marbles I've had. Colors include: red, green, purple, orange, white, and transparent clear. This is just a beautiful piece of eye-candy that grabs your eye regardless of what display it sits.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is very near perfect--just like the day it was made. I don't even see any of the as-made dimples. The only anomoly I can come up with is the marble is just the slightest bit out of round, you can see how little from the six different views I have provided which show every aspect possible. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.65mm or 0.616" at the equator. | |||||
