A mustard yellow base glass with bright red ribbons, some with aventurine, describe a Peltier NLR RUBY BEE. Some of the red ribbons have a brilliant darker streak running through them. This is where the somewhat light but easily seen aventurine can be found. I've only had a few of these over the years and have never seen one with much more than a light sprinkling of aventurine; in fact, red aventurine is very, very rare, and seldom has more than a small amount.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface has the wet shiny look of a brand new marble with no evidence of play or wear of any kind. All I can find using a bright light and 10x jeweler's loupe, is some very tiny, almost microscopic, and clearly as-made melted dimples. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.10mm or 0.634" at the equator. | |||||
