Bright red and yellow ribbons, trimmed in brown and green, meet at two seams on a robin's egg blue base glass describe one of the most popular collectable marbles ever: The Peltier NLR SUPERMAN. Not much more needs to be, nor can be, said about this wonderful piece of pure eye candy.
NOTE: Just to clear it up; the title says 11/16-"--a full 11/16" would be 0.6875". This one, at 0.678" is closer to 11/16" than it is to the next smaller size of 21/32" which is 0.656". CONDITION: NEAR MINT(++) 8.99 The surface is nice and shiny but there is faint evidence of some exceptionally light wear that can be seen when using a bright light and lens to inspect. There are some very tiny as-mades that are easily seen in the pictures. I have seen many marbles sold as MINT that weren't near as nice as this one; in fact, I bought this one as mint but I cannot deny what little is there. Still an excellent marble, and certainly a collection centerpiece. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.22mm or 0.678" at the equator. | |||||
