What a gorgeous example: OXBLOOD with swirls of white and black making a breathtaking pattern. The glass must have been hot and thin because there's drizzle lines all around the marble; also, the tail didn't quite follow the normal pattern of flowing to a cut-line on the opposite end from the nine; in fact, it drizzled back up and across the nine--Wonderful.
I'm guessing this one was made by M.F. Christensen and Sons, but the color of the oxblood sort of infers that it could have been made by Akro. I'm not that much of an expert. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. Shiny wet surface without the slightest hint of play or wear. All I can find are some melted dimples that only seem to enhance the patter of the swirls.
