Here is an old blue on white Peltier Peerless Patch with a one of the stars of the early 1920s newspaper comic strip GASOLINE ALLEY: EMMA who ran a boarding house for the other featured characters. The image is well placed and centered on the marble. A great piece for the marble collector as well as collectors of anything antique including the art deco period.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 I can find no evidence of play or wear. There is some scattered graphite specks and several tiny to medium melted dimples with graphite in the bottom and there are two sub-surface sparkles. Everything seems to be as-made, but it is there and a bit of a distraction. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.85mm or 0.665" at the equator. | |||||
