I love the deep emeral green of the base glass carrying the white swirls that feather out on the surface in a patter unique to the Peltier NATIONAL ONYX marbles, AKA (Slags) the definition of which is a single stream of transparent colored glass with white swirls. These are some of the earliest of the Peltiers that were produced and the most easily identified of all the slags by the feathering effect made by the white swirls. No other company has this.
Also, Peltier made fewer than than the other companies; therefore, since there were not all that many made to begin with, they have become quite hard to find, especially in this wonderful mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear of any kind. All I can find with a bright light and a jeweler's loupe is a couple of shallow creases that are easily seen in the pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 14.66mm or 0.577" at the equator. | |||||
